Bow to Prosser to Baker City

Here goes with the pics...

Our first stop was the top of Stevens Pass on Highway 2. There was a lot less snow there than just 2 weeks prior when we crossed it to go to Chelan.

Just past Leavenworth we jumped onto Highway 97 and crossed over Blewett Pass. What a great road!! Towards the end of 97 there is a lookout of sorts. There was a beautiful valley on one side and huge windmills on the other.

Unfortunately we met a guy there who had to tell us his horror story about his riding accident..blah blah blah! Why do people feel the need to do that!? Don't they get it!!?? Telling someone who is actually riding a bike at the time all about your famous accident does nothing for their mental state...sheesh!!! Get over it! We know it's dangerous but then so is walking across the street!

We dropped down into Ellensburg then onto the Canyon Rd, what a great road!!!

We met Jeri and Yolanda in Prosser and settled in for the night. Had a pool and hot tub so we were all happy motelers. (: Got up early the next day and headed for Baker City.

Jeri, me and Yolanda...Women In The Wind!!!

We stopped in Pendleton for coffee at my favorite stop..Safeway Starbucks!! Would have liked to get some pics there of the round-up stadium but just didn't work with traffic and all.

The end of day two was riding in to the RV park only to be told by one of the guys camping with us that we didn't have reservations...!!! He eventually got mad and left in the middle of the first night so we were all kind of relieved. Seems like a nice enough guy and all but definitely has some issues to work out.

Nice view from the RV park.

There were so many bikes and met some really nice people. Day three we got to ride the Hells Canyon highway to the dam and back....
